Gmail voice and video chat installation problem
if you have problem in installing gmail voice and video chat program it stucks in detecting devices... then you just start "run" in windows OS and type in "%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Google Talk Plugin" press enter you will see a window opens up. In this window just delete the file "googletalkplugin_port" and re open gmail.

ReplyDeletei downloaded that Google voice & video chat ran it but error shows: No installed debugger has Just-In-Time debugging enabled.and and also shows installer download failed error code: = 0x80040905
plz tel me how to fix this problem.
Video chat is the nice feature but can not connect N800 with PC via video chat [ www.scXworld.com ]

My chat was working well all along and suddenly yesterday it stopped working even on google chrome. I tried uninstalling and installing again and even though it says it has been installed there is no google folder in the path mentioned for me to go and delete that file. I am not even sure where the problem is. Please help me.
ReplyDeleteMy video worked perfectly in Gmail chat up until yesterday. For whatever reason Gmail gave me the indicator that I didn't have video chat enabled, and provided the download link to install the google talk video plugin. I eventually caved and reinstalled the plugin. It asked to restart my browser, which I did. I then went back into my chat settings to see if the video test showed my video, and it just hung detecting for my video camera.
ReplyDeleteI'm at a loss and have tried multiple times to reinstall. I deactivated my antivirus and firewall just in case. Still nothing. I tried your fix posted here, and I see no such file name to delete. My only options are:
googleadapter.dll
googletalkax.dll
googletalkplugin.dll
googletalkplugin
gtbplugin
Please help. Clearly others are having the same issue.

ReplyDeleteI tried several times to install google voice & video chat, but each time I got "fatal error 1603." I went through control pannel trying to uninstall "google talk plugin," but I wouldn't be able to have it unstalled. Can you point me a direction to go? thanks.

Take a look. Just download googletalkpluginaccel.msi file, and run it. And I was able to intall google voice and video.

Deletei have downloaded the voice and video chat several times i have gone to run and deleted the google voice plug in.. but nothing has happened.. when i place a call it sti;ll says to download the voice and video plug in. i have tried to e mail the voicevideologs@gmail.com but got a message to just look at the google forums which dont help eather... PLEASE help.. seems like i have tried it all... i would really like to place calls again..
